Review – Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

The Mission: Impossible franchise is a rather steady one. In a manner it’s kind of a Bond-esque, Disney Marvel thing now. New directors come, they go and do their own – narrow – variations on the whole Tom Cruise is a super-duper spy thing. This is by no means complaining.

Rogue Nation is the fifth feature which is in theaters this weekend; an enjoyable, largely thrilling bit of action. If some of the tropes may be a bit played out, that’s another thing. What’s here though is a movie that gets rather close to great. My full review is up on Examiner as usual.
