Review – Exodus: Gods and Kings

Ridley Scott is one of cinema’s stranger directors. Few people of his notoriety have made as many mediocre movies amidst the good, occasionally great ones. What’s even odder is the fact that Scott rarely seems capable of making two quality pictures in a row. The trouble continues with Exodus: Gods and Kings, in which he tries to turn the story of Passover into his Gladiator/Kingdom of Heaven style. It doesn’t work. It doesn’t work at all. Review for said not working is up here.
